“Meeting”

A look back into the early years when Naruto and Sasuke first met and got to know each other.




Last Episode  Onoki transports the giant turtle safely back to the Hidden Cloud Village, while inside Killer Bee starts to train Naruto. At the outskirts of the Akatsuki hideout, Tokuma uses his Byakugan and discovers the 100,000 Zetsu beneath them then relays their discovery to the Five Kage. The Allied Shinobi Forces now assemble and being divided into five platoons based on their specialty. Meanwhile at the Akatsuki hideout, Kabuto now summons his undead army from the former members of Akatsuki, former Tailed Beast hosts, other Kages, to elders and powerful ninjas. Yamato is now being secured below of the clone of Hashirama Senju's body to bolster the strength of 100,000 white Zetsus. Kabuto and Tobi now leave the hideout, signifying the start of the Fourth Great Ninja War.

The episodes from the twelfth season of the anime series Naruto: Shippuden are based on Part II of the setting of Naruto manga series by Masashi Kishimoto. The episodes are directed by Hayato Date and produced by Studio Pierrot and TV Tokyo.[1] The season focuses on Naruto's training to control the Nine-Tailed Demon Fox and the ninja world's preparations to the world war against the criminal organization Akatsuki.
The twelfth season began airing on January 5, 2012 on TV Tokyo and is still ongoing.[2] The episodes are directed by Hayato Date and produced by Studio Pierrot and TV Tokyo. On January 2, 2009 Viz Media and Crunchyroll began providing subtitled Naruto: Shippuden.[3] The series premiered in North America during 2009 in Disney XD, but these episodes have yet to air.[4]
This season contains four musical themes: two openings and two endings. The first opening theme, "newsong" by tacica, is used from episodes 243 to 256. The second opening theme, "Totsugeki Rock" (突撃ロック?, "Assault Rock") by The Cro-Magnons, is used from episode 257 onwards. The first ending theme, "By My Side" (バイマイサイド Bai Mai Saido?) by Hemenway, is used from episodes 243 to 256. The second ending theme, "Cascade" (カスケード Kasukēdo?) by UNLIMITS, is used from episode 257 onwards.
